Fine art inkjet prints are available for the images shown in these pages. All prints are made with pigment inks, which have the greatest longevity and archival characteristics. Only professional grade semi-gloss and premium luster printing papers are used. Each print is hand signed by the artist (R. Scott Ireland or Lou Ireland).

We recommend the use of acid-free matting and acid-free foam-core backing materials when mounting your print for display. Be certain to leave an airspace between the surface of the print and the glass or plastic used in your picture frame. When framed properly in this manner, using U/V resistant glass or plastic and displayed away from direct sunlight, your print should have a longevity exceeding fifty years without any noticeable fading.

Color Calibration:

Please be aware of the fact that computer monitors are notoriously variable in the manner in which they display color. What you see on your screen may be entirely different from what other people see on theirs. Also, please note that ink and paper are reflective materials, and will not illustrate color and shading in the same manner as a transmissive computer monitor. Therefore, the print you receive will, of necessity, differ slightly from what appears on your screen. Nonetheless, to minimize this difference, we endeavor to control our color workflow processing by recalibrating (with a colorimeter) our monitors every three weeks and by using custom scanner and printer profiles.

These are the outside dimensions of the paper. The actual printed surface will be somewhat smaller. A white border appears on each of the four sides of the print to facilitate mounting and matting. Generally this border measures ½ inch to 1 inch on each side, but the exact dimensions will depend upon the particular image chosen.
